HELLO! SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE! I AM THE OWNER & FOUNDER OF JUST MOVE FITNESS, A PERSONALIZED FITNESS & “WHOLE- PERSON” COACHING SOLUTION FOR WOMEN & PEOPLE IN MID-LIFE

I am a seasoned fitness professional with over two decades of experience, NASM certified expert holding an impressive portfolio of 12 other health and fitness certifications. My fitness journey ignited at the tender age of 5 with ballet, broadened into gymnastics and then evolved into a 10-year soccer career. I have also competed in 5 triathlons! My passion for exercise, sports, and movement has been a constant in my life, also aiding me in managing low levels of anxiety which started from an early age.

My specialty areas are diverse and cater to a broad range of needs, excelling in delivering 1:1 fitness, Corrective Exercise, Functional Fitness, Prehab, Sports Specific, MAT Pilates and a 500 hr Certified Yoga Instructor. My expertise in Pre and Post-natal fitness has been a boon to many women. Most recently, I have developed a unique niche in coaching women in mid-life, particularly those navigating the challenges of peri-menopause and menopause. I have also coached hundreds of people throughout my 20 years as a fitness professional including Older Adults, Semi-pro athletes & busy on-the-go Parents who are experiencing joint discomfort & want to get stronger & have more energy!

With a keen interest in older adult & mid-life fitness, I focus on posture correction, balance enhancement, resistance training, as well as weight loss and weight maintenance. As a Fitness Specialist, I also offer nutrition guidance and Bodywork in Thai Massage & CUPPING TREATMENTS! I really am your one stop shop for all things fitness!

My commitment to fitness and wellness has positively impacted hundreds of individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area, guiding them towards healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Away from my professional life, I cherish my personal time in Northern Marin, where I reside with my husband. When I’m not training clients, I indulge in my other passion of photography and enjoy unwinding with reality TV shows and dining out with hubby to our favorite sushi spot!

I was not searching for a weight loss program or a spiritual path. I am an avid runner (daily) and workout with weights three times a week. On top of those activities, I stand on my feet all day at work. Times this by a few years and my body began to break down on me. My run times became slower and slower and the muscles in my legs and feet tightened and constantly caused me pain. My neck, back and shoulders were also continually cramped and sore and my range of motion was far less than it used to be. I love to work out and I also love my job. I didn’t want to give up either of those things in my life, but I also didn’t know how I could continue to do them with my pain. I began a search as to what could help me achieve a balance between running, lifting, and doing my work. My search ended with an answer I didn’t expect, yoga.

As a chef on my feet for 30+ years, I have only started running marathons for the past two years. My trainer told me I should take up yoga; it would help with the running. As a big guy, I felt yoga was not for me, but I gave it a go!
